This Week’s Theme: Meditate on God’s Word
Word for the Week is Meditation: Drawing close to God by spending time in quietness contemplating His Word with a focus on understanding His ways and works, and applying of the truths to one’s life.
Memory verse: Psalms 119:11 (NKJV) Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.
Sermon Text: Psalm 1:1-3
Psalm 1:1–3 NKJV
Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

I. Delight in God Directive

Psalm 1:2 NKJV
But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.

III. Deliberate on God’s Directive

Meditation on the works of God

I will also meditate on all Your work, And talk of Your deeds.
Meditation on the creation
