We must not just debate the truth, we must know the truth. If we would live free, we must not just know the truth, we must live in truth and we must become people of truth.
Os Guinness
To walk in the truth, imports a life of integrity, holiness, faithfulness, and simplicity—the natural product of those principles of truth which the gospel teaches, and which the Spirit of God enables us to receive.
Charles Spurgeon
To be filled with the Spirit is the same as to be controlled by the Word. The Spirit of Truth uses the Word of truth to guide us into the will and the work of God.
Warren W. Wiersbe
Nothing conquers but truth, and the victory of truth is love.
Augustine of Hippo
1454Say some, “Tell us how to discern truth.”
You may judge it by three things: by God, by Christ, and by man; that is, the truth which honors God, the truth which glorifies Christ, and the truth which humbles man.—54.247
Charles Spurgeon
Worship is in response to truth about God and the truth about God is revealed in his Word.
John F. MacArthur
Sometimes Christians want to hear new truth when what they need is exhortation to excel still more, to press on to greater experiencing of old truths which they are already practicing to a limited degree.
Thomas L. Constable
9649 Do the truth you know, and you shall learn the truth you need to know.
George MacDonald
Follow me; I am the way, the truth, and the life.
Without the way there is no going;
Without the truth there is no knowing;
Without the life there is no living.
Thomas à Kempis
It is truth that changes our behaviour; a sober, clear understanding of God’s truth is what changes lives.
R. C. Sproul
God renews our lives by renewing our minds, and he renews our minds through his truth. This truth is the Word of God.
Warren W. Wiersbe
The third evidence of maturity is truth joined with love: “Speaking the truth in love” (Eph. 4:15)
Warren W. Wiersbe
Truth must be understood by inward illumination—then we know the truth. Until that time, we don’t. So, Jesus said, “If you will follow in, if ye continue in my Word, then are ye my disciples indeed, and you shall know the truth.”4
A. W. Tozer
Those who receive truth and act upon it receive more. Those who reject truth will ultimately lose the bit they have. The parables were full of truth, but for truth-rejecting people, they were inscrutable.
R. Kent Hughes
Men go after novel and false doctrines because they do not really know the truth; for if the truth had gotten into them and filled them, they would not have room for these day-dreams.

Charles Spurgeon
The best evidence of our having the truth is our walking in the truth.
Matthew Henry
Peace if possible, truth at all costs.
Martin Luther
We hope to understand the truth better, but we shall never discover better truth.
Fathers In Christ, Volume 29, Sermon #1751 -1 John 2:13, 14
Charles Spurgeon
Literally, it means, ‘truthing (alētheuontes) in love’, and includes the notions of ‘maintaining’, ‘living’ and ‘doing’ the truth.
John Stott
