This is important when you consider your need for God’s help daily.
12 So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who is at work in you, both to desire and to work for His good pleasure.
We must be in Partnership with the indwelling Holy Spirit under the instruction of God’s word. This alone produces daily victory over all of life issues. No Partnership, No Miracles, No Deliverance! Ref. Gen 1:1-3

44 You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.

Genesis 3:1–6 (NASB 2020)
1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any animal of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God really said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?” 2 The woman said to the serpent, “From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat; 3 but from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.’ ” 4 The serpent said to the woman, “You certainly will not die! 5 For God knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will become like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took some of its fruit and ate; and she also gave some to her husband with her, and he ate.
Satans (Serpent) blatant disregard of God was the first act to disrespect and express his distain. God in relationship with man was introduced as Elohim, In Chapter two as YHWH Elohim (LORD GOD “Trinity”), Genesis Three the serpent calls him Elohim as he knows him but not as his LORD.
