**Bring Elements**
Bring Bible for communion on table
Walk through at 8:45, and PRAYER again at 10:40.
Good morning/evening church! (wait for response).
Faith, Hope, and LOVE — that’s why we’re here today.
To grow in these three, the greatest of which is LOVE.
If we haven’t met yet, my name is Tim and I serve as a pastoral resident here.
If we haven’t connected yet over the past 3 years of me serving here, I’d love that to change today, since I only have a couple more months left to my residency.
If you’re a guest with us today, a special welcome to you!
Just one main thing I’d like to share with you:
An update from our beloved ministry partner, Safe Families.
If you’d turn your eyes to the screen:
Safe Families Video 2.5 minutes…
Slide AFTER video
“If you’d like to learn more, there will be a representative at a table outside the worship center and an informational meeting in 103 right after the service!
OR:
Scripture says that PURE and undefiled religion is caring for orphans and the afflicted.
Safe families is one such ministry, that we as a church, partner with in fulfilling this task!
Safe families seeks to keep families together by arranging short term hosting of kids while the mom or parents get back on their feet.
We’d love to share more with you about this ministry at an informational meeting right after the service, or you can visit the representative at a table in the lobby.
The opportunities for you to serve include hosting, being a resource or family friend, or coach.
We encourage you to PRAY and consider today if the Lord is leading you to participate.
Again, more info can be found after the service or by going to the website safefamilies.org.”
As we continue in worship through giving, we encourage you to use the QR code in front of you on the back of the chairs.
2 Corinthians 9 says
GIVE, knowing God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work!

Song of Response
Communion - table on floor
6-7 sentence MAX lead in…
As we come to the Lord’s table now, we recall WHY we are here, and why we partake in this symbolic meal.
Our Lord Jesus Christ has given His own BODY as spiritual food for us;
Our Lord Jesus has shed His own BLOOD as spiritual DRINK for us, and as a cleansing BATH for our many sins.
Our identity as ONE church, ONE body of Christ, united in ONE Holy Spirit,
is reflected in the bread, the grain, that we partake in simultaneously.
As both bread and wine/or grape juice are made through a process of crushing grain and grapes;
so WE, the NEW CREATION of God, were made through the crushing of Christ on the cross.
So take now the next two minutes to reflect on this GOSPEL:
Casting your sins before the cross of Christ
Considering any conflict you currently have with another believer, determining to reconcile with them
and REJOICING in the full forgiveness and salvation you have in knowing Christ.
2 minutes of music
We welcome all who believe and are following Jesus Christ to the table with us.
Parents, we trust you to know if your children have placed their faith in Jesus, and thus, can join us, too.
Brothers and sisters, let’s prepare the bread together [prepare bread]
The Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and after blessing it, broke it, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
Take, Eat
Let’s prepare the cup. [prepare cup]
And Jesus took the cup, and after giving thanks, said, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the new covenant which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Do this, as often as you drink it in remembrance of me.”
[drink]
Would you stand with me for a closing prayer?
God of our salvation,
CHRIST our Passover Lamb has been sacrificed;
THANK YOU for giving us SUCH a Substitute,
CRUSHED in our place,
PUNISHED for our sins.
Thank you that THROUGH His Body + Blood,
- we are reconciled to you in joyful fellowship!
Therefore, we can celebrate the FESTIVAL of our redemption,
not with the old leaven of hatred and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
Grant us now to walk in the unity of the Spirit, in sincerity of love, and in pursuit of the truth.
Through Christ our Lord,
Amen.
Please join us for Pray First 12:15 Sunday.
And make sure to meet someone new before you leave! :-)
