THE GOD FACTOR - SEEING WHAT GOD CAN DO THROUGH YOU
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
INTRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION
Good morning and welcome to Oasis Church, it is great to have you join with us today. If you are visiting with us, we welcome you, and look forward to chatting with you after the service around morning tea.
I believe as we spend time studying Gods word, He is going to speak to us, we will receive revelation from Holy Spirit, we will be challenged to grow and we will be blessed.
Let's Pray:
Father I pray that as we hear from your word today, that it will help us to understand what we have in You. I pray that your Holy Spirit will help us outwork in all that you have called us to do. I pray our minds will be alert and our hearts open to receive all that You have for us today Amen.

LETS READ:
“Brethren and fathers, hear my defense before you now.” And when they heard that he spoke to them in the Hebrew language, they kept all the more silent.
Then he said: “I am indeed a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, taught according to the strictness of our fathers’ law, and was zealous toward God as you all are today. I persecuted this Way to the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women, as also the high priest bears me witness, and all the council of the elders, from whom I also received letters to the brethren, and went to Damascus to bring in chains even those who were there to Jerusalem to be punished.
“Now it happened, as I journeyed and came near Damascus at about noon, suddenly a great light from heaven shone around me. And I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?’ So I answered, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said to me, ‘I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting.’
“And those who were with me indeed saw the light and were afraid, but they did not hear the voice of Him who spoke to me. So I said, ‘What shall I do, Lord?’ And the Lord said to me, ‘Arise and go into Damascus, and there you will be told all things which are appointed for you to do.’
YOUR TESTIMONY IS YOURS
YOUR TESTIMONY IS YOURS
And since I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of those who were with me, I came into Damascus.
“Then a certain Ananias, a devout man according to the law, having a good testimony with all the Jews who dwelt there, came to me; and he stood and said to me, ‘Brother Saul, receive your sight.’ And at that same hour I looked up at him. Then he said, ‘The God of our fathers has chosen you that you should know His will, and see the Just One, and hear the voice of His mouth. For you will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’
“Now it happened, when I returned to Jerusalem and was praying in the temple, that I was in a trance and saw Him saying to me, ‘Make haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly, for they will not receive your testimony concerning Me.’ So I said, ‘Lord, they know that in every synagogue I imprisoned and beat those who believe on You. And when the blood of Your martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by consenting to his death, and guarding the clothes of those who were killing him.’ Then He said to me, ‘Depart, for I will send you far from here to the Gentiles.’ ”
POINT 1
POINT 1
UNDERSTANDING WHAT WE HAVE RECEIVED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST
UNDERSTANDING WHAT WE HAVE RECEIVED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST
In order to use what we have, we need understand what we have received through Jesus Christ.
11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Paul understood what he had received from Jesus
The disciple stepped out in the supernatural power of God - As they had seen Jesus do
Peter walked on water
Jesus feeding the thousands
The women with an issue of blood
The fig tree wither and die
We have been given this same power to outwork the Kingdom today,
To see lives touch, change
To see people healed and whole
To see people save and in relationship with Jesus.
THREE QUESTIONS
WHAT ARE YOU READING?
WHAT IS GOD SAYING TO YOU?
TESTIMONY - GOOD THINGS GOD IS DOING IN AND THROUGH YOU
Ps Rachel to share testimony from Parkwork Church
Ps Rachel to share testimony from My City Church
1 Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; 3 who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. 4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” 5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. 6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” 7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God. 10 Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
The lame man was asking for what he thought he needed, Peter and John gave him not what he wanted, but what he needed. From his perspective he needed money, Gods perspective he needed healing and wholeness.
We see in the natural, but God see in the supernatural. He never comes up short.
We see from mans perspective, God sees from a Kingdom perspective.
We always have more then we think, we have God.
Give more then what you are being asked for.
There are no limits in God.
POINT 2
POINT 2
STEP OUT IN FAITH WITH WHAT YOU HAVE
STEP OUT IN FAITH WITH WHAT YOU HAVE
Dare to step out in faith and see what God can do through you.
Jesus said greater works will do (If we believe)
12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
The bible tells us in John 10:10 that the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
It is because of our faith in God, through Jesus death, burial and resurrection that we can walk in the abundant life given to us.
As our faith in God grows, our capacity to do His will increases.
POINT 3
POINT 3
DON’T LIMIT WHAT GOD CAN DO IN AND THROUGH YOU
DON’T LIMIT WHAT GOD CAN DO IN AND THROUGH YOU
Get Kaumudi to share her testimony of being healed
Get Aaryanna to share what God has done through her prayer
It is not us but what HE/GOD does
What you have is not insignificant - IT IS VERY SIGNIICANT
SELF TALK: At times it is better not to say anything, just step out in faith.
Luke 17:5–6 (NKJV)
5 And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” 6 So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
Matthew 17:20 (NKJV)
20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
What is the mountain in your life that is holding you back? Today, we can celebrate in the victory we have;
Our Saviour has risen!
The tomb is empty!
Like Peter and John, we can step out in faith and use what we have. I believe that as we do, we will see God move upon people’s lives.
CONCLUSION
CONCLUSION
As we finish up this morning I encourage you don’t look at what you don’t have but rather look at what you do have. And with what you do have, do more with it. In the doing don't let the enemy rob you step out in faith; it has been given to us.
8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
