Untitled Sermon

27 我 的 羊 听 我 的 声 音 ， 我 也 认 识 他 们 ， 他 们 也 跟 着 我 。

28 我 又 赐 给 他 们 永 生 ； 他 们 永 不 灭 亡 ， 谁 也 不 能 从 我 手 里 把 他 们 夺 去 。

29 我 父 把 羊 赐 给 我 ， 他 比 万 有 都 大 ， 谁 也 不 能 从 我 父 手 里 把 他 们 夺 去 。

30 我 与 父 原 为 一 。 27 Wǒ de yáng tīng wǒ de shēngyīn, wǒ yě rènshí tāmen, tāmen yě gēnzhe wǒ. 28 Wǒ yòu cì gěi tāmen yǒngshēng; tāmen yǒng bù mièwáng, shuí yě bùnéng cóng wǒ shǒu lǐ bǎ tāmen duó qù.

29 Wǒ fù bǎ yáng cì gěi wǒ, tā bǐ wàn yǒu dū dà, shuí yě bùnéng cóng wǒ fù shǒu lǐ bǎ tāmen duó qù. 30 Wǒ yǔ fù yuán wéi yī. 24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: In verse 24 we read that the Jews came to Jesus and tried to cast the burden of proof on him…they said “ If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.” Jesus said, “ I already did and you didn’t believe”. This is the situation of so many people today. It is so convenient to cast the burden of proof on a Christian or on a Church when God has already done so much to make himself known to you. If you have heard about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, you have already heard more about Jesus than many people in the world today. In these scriptures, Jesus uses the illustration of a shepherd and sheep to explain the relationship between himself and his children. He said that his sheep will hear his voice…he knows them..and they follow him…he gives them eternal life. This eternal life is given the moment you become his sheep. If your here today and he is also your shepherd, we are not waiting to receive eternal life…we already have it. we will NEVER perish. Your safely in Gods hands. Jesus suffered, bled, and died so that you could be safely in the hands of God the Father and so that Jesus could be your savior. I believe many of us have heard this plainly....We are sinners. We cannot do anything to save ourselves. Jesus came to earth to live a sinless life and to die in our place. Because he was without sin, he resurrected and is alive forevermore. Today his tomb is still empty. He offers eternal life to all who humble themselves and call on his name. To not respond to the gospel is to reject the gospel. 羅 馬 書 10:13 13 因 为 凡 求 告 主 名 的 ， 就 必 得 救 。
