3. We Need to Drink

a. There is a hidden source that follows us

And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

4. We Are in A Battle

a. The Flesh is contrary to the Spirit

b. Galatians 5:16-17

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

Amalek (the Flesh)

We become aware of the flesh after salvation

The desire to fight sin is an evidence of salvation

We are not without secret weapon of war

The battle is fought on two fronts, on the field and on the mountain

The Flesh is defeated by prayer and the Word

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

The battle against the flesh is lifelong

If I stay in the battle I will know the Lord

The flesh will be finally defeated!
