The Life of Men

This Sunday, Pastor Martin continues to look at the prologue to the Gospel of John. The focus this week is on verses 4 & 5, where we learn that Jesus is the Life and Light. These ideas seem to flow out of the truth in verse 3 that the Word created all things, and yet they anticipate the themes that will come up again later in John's Gospel. In a world of death and darkness, the light of God has come, revealed exclusively in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
