1. Took him aside and explained to him the way of God
2. He listened and changed
3. The Result was that he helped those in the next city
Application
1. Can this be said about you? Maybe not eloquent in speech, but are you someone who has the reputation of Apollos being fervent in spirit? What is your reputation?
2. Are you teachable? He could have shaken them off and said “I know what I am doing.”
Romans 12:11 “Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.”
