Our Faith Give God Room to Work

V24-25
This miracle would not have happened had the boys been willing to compromise

God’s Deliverance Brough Him Great Glory

26-27
The boys were not delivered for their benefit, but for God’s glory
As the Babylonian leaders examined the boys, they found no signs of being in the fire
The same fire that burnt up the guards, left no evidence on these boys
Specifically it says their hair was not singed
clothing unharmed
and no smell of fire was even on them
As Daniel describes it, the “fire had not any power over their bodies” (v27)
Isaiah 43:1–2 “1 But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.”
Hebrews 11:34 “34 quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.”
