15 And Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows. And he took unto him bow and arrows.
16 And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king’s hands.
17 And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them.
18 And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed.
19 And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.
55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
I have some concerns and feel like we are fighting some things…
I am weary of dealing with the same things, year after year.
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
I am sick and weary of Pentecostals that are ignorant and oblivious of how the enemy works!
There is such a false way trying to creep into the Church.
Why are people ok when you say the Spirit of the Lord is here but not ok when you say the Angel of the Lord is here…
BUT is it easy for some of us to be indignant because we have talked about it but I’m not convienced that we believe it any more then some of the nay-sayers!
Why? We shout about and puff ourselves up because we know something but completely ignore the putting on the armor part!
I know we don’t war against natural things…
BUT I don’t pray and get in the Word every day…
You don’t believe what you profess to know!
You are a soldier who decided not to wear his helmet, or his rifle was to heavy!
Part of the spirit of the day: Law of Sin
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
We have to have the armor of God!
Belt of Truth - grounded in truth and honesty
Breastplate of Righteousness - morality and integrity
Shoes of the Gospel of Peace - sharing of the Gospel
Shield of Faith - trust and confidence in God
Helmet of Salvation - peace in the future and protection of the mind
Sword of the Spirit - Word of God
Prayer - relationship with God

Go back and cover some basics and explain why you have been feeling some of the things you have been feeling.
Luke 9:55 they were going to call fire down on those why had rejected Jesus and Jesus told them, you don’t even know what spirit is influencing you right now!
So in the presence of Jesus, another spirit began to influence them!
Three spiritual jurisdictions:
Law of sin and death
Perfect law of life and liberty
Law of carnality and flesh
If you have the Holy Ghost, with time you should not have to worry much about the Law of sin and death.
If you are under the Perfect law of life and liberty (James 1:25) there will be a time when you only have to worry about the Law of the flesh.
This is what holiness is about…
Righteousness
Maturity
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Anyone who walks after the law of the flesh will always revert back to the Law of sin and death.
Romans 7:23 (KJV 1900)
23 But I see another law in my members (LAW OF FLESH), warring against the law of my mind (LAW OF LIBERTY), and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Romans deals with this beautifully!
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
This is a about who has jurisdiction!
The vast majority of what you are fighting is because you have surrendered to the wrong jurisdiction!
Pastor, I am weary, tired, sick…
Living under the carnal law that manipulates your time and causes you to misuse it.
Pastor, I am anxious, fearful…
Living under the carnal law that manipulates your emotions through lies.
Pastor, I am marital and family problems…
Living under the carnal law that manipulates your thinking causes conflict
Pastor, don’t want to worship…
Pastor, I don’t have time to pray…
Pastor, I am to busy to fast…
Pastor, I can’t afford to pay my tithe…
You are living under the carnal law of the flesh which misplaces priorities!
Pastor, everything is just fine, don’t rock the boat!
You have surrendered to the wrong jurisdiction!
No one who is living under the law of Liberty has ever said
I wont do that, I don’t see that, I wont do that…
That’s the Law of the Flesh!
Sad truth, if you would be honest with me, you know you are not praying every day!
How do I know?
Praying people do NOT live in fear and anxiety!
Praying people are worshiping people!
We will never get any farther until you can do these basic things consistently!
SO go pray, study and fast this week and do your devotions.
Demand a trial in a different jurisdiction!
When you get in the right jurisdiction, nothing else matters.
Don’t matter how much sin and death, flesh and carnality are around you, you are in a different court, living b y different laws!
Moses stood the court of Pharaoh thinking that he was in control.
He had no idea that he was actually in God court!
What we are dealing with is a spirit of Apathy.
Apathy is the great deal maker!
Pastor, you should be happy I am here, don’t expect me to worship.
I will pray Thursday night, I’m to busy now.
Conclution:
Recommit to prayer, fasting and church attendance.
Commit to worship and unity
