8. Read Romans 2:1–16. An elevated pagan moralist, who agrees with Paul about the awful immorality of society and is appalled and shocked about the behavior of others, is the target of Paul’s words in 2:1–11. What is the chink in the armor of that moralist that Paul exposes?

The chink in the armor that Paul exposes is that the moralist do not realize that God is impartial. That they will be judged for the same things that they are judging others for.
