So he wrote a letter to the Christians

He told them of the prayer he prayed and gave the why’s

Paul gives us 4 specific things that he prayed for

1. Filled with knowledge

a. Which is the intelligence of God’s will

2. Spiritual understanding—putting things together

What for

a. To walk worth (this is pleasing)

b. Your good work will be prosperous

c. You grow in knowledge

3. Strengthen with God’s power

Result will be

a. Patience

b. Long suffering

4. Give credit to God

Why

a. We are qualified for heaven

b. Delivered from Satan’s power

c. Carried us into the Kingdom of JC
