A very wonderful day and very special day to celebrate, what would a world be without mother without her love and sacrifice this world would not be as happy as it is today. I on behalf of all the Church Members and on behalf of my family member wish you all a very happy Mother’s day.
- Express appreciation for the diverse roles mothers play in our lives.
Do you know what was the very first blessing from God to Man kind?
Genesis 1:28 “And God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of heaven, and over every animal that moves upon the earth.””
and the very reason we are able to celebrate this wonderful day is all because of his blessing.
Though it is a God’s blessing from God but it also involve the first curse as well.
Genesis 3:16 “To the woman he said, “I will greatly increase your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bear children. And to your husband shall be your desire. And he shall rule over you.””
and it is true Research says a women experiance a near dead during Child delivery.
iI
i want to express my appriciation all the mother today for enduring the pain of death to fullfil the very first blessing of God.
But can ...
can a mother divided a bread equally for his son and other?
Can a mother accept charges against her child without bargaining.
Doesn't mother out of her love hides the bad habits of her child, instead of rebuking openly.
I. The Unconditional Love of Mothers (Bina swart)
- Reference Verse: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NIV) - "Love is patient, love is kind... It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
Love: defination of Love is selfless and betterment of other.
Patient: Mother is patient with her child, even when he is slow in growing, slow in learning, when you are not listening properly a Mother is always patient.
Protects: A mother always protects from sickness, danger, animal attack, human attack no matter how weak or how disable she maybe she will protect you.
In the ancient land of Egypt, during a time of great oppression, there lived a woman named Jochebed. She was a Hebrew, and like many of her people, she endured the harsh realities of slavery under the rule of Pharaoh. Despite the perilous circumstances, Jochebed's heart overflowed with love when she gave birth to a son, whom she named Moses.
Knowing the decree of Pharaoh to kill all Hebrew male infants, Jochebed faced an agonizing decision. With courage fueled by a mother's love, she resolved to protect her child at any cost. So, she fashioned a small basket, waterproofed it with tar and pitch, and gently placed baby Moses inside.
Under cover , Jochebed ventured to the edge of the Nile River, her heart heavy with fear yet steadfast in resolve. With trembling hands, she released the basket into the currents, entrusting her precious son to the mercy of the God.
As fate would have it, the basket drifted to a place where it was discovered by none other than Pharaoh's daughter, who had come to bathe in the river. Touched by the infant's cries, she took him as her own, naming him Moses and raising him as a prince of Egypt.
Through Jochebed's selfless act of bravery, Moses was spared from certain death and went on to become a pivotal figure in history, leading his people out of bondage and into freedom. Jochebed's story serves as a timeless testament to the power of a mother's love and the lengths to which she will go to protect her child.
Trust Even though you are in capable to execute any task still she will trust you.
Hopes There is no limit for mother to put her hope on her children, though you maybe hopless to the world you are always Hero to your mother.
Perseveres The very Meaning of Perseveres is continue in a course of action even in the face of difficulty or with little or no indication of success.
Story of Rose afraid of surgery but for the sake of children she endure the pain.
II. The Wisdom and Guidance of Mothers
Proverbs 1:8–9 “My child, may you keep your father’s instruction, and do not reject your mother’s teachings, for they are a garland of favor for your head, and pendants for your neck.”
What is Father’s Instruction and Mother’s teaching? Can anyone answer?
It is an Education of their life, and it came from God through Moses because ancient Israel people adopted the law of God to deal with their own daily life just like the law and order which we have today in our country except the law of God is best.
The defination of education by world is base on knowledge and skill, building good career and and earning huge.
but the transletion of Godly law and instruction is Hevenly.
Garlend represent honour
Pendant a Jewwllery: Often resemble cultural status and beautifiction of one outer apperance. e.g High priest Breastplate was embedded with diffrent gemstone (Exodus 28:15-21)
Wearing Jewellery is practice from ancient time.
in another incident we see Genesis 24:22
Genesis 24:22
And it happened that as the camels finished drinking the man took a gold ring of a half shekel in weight and two bracelets for her arms, ten shekels in weight,
- Illustration: Highlight the invaluable wisdom and guidance passed down from mothers to their children, drawing attention to the role of mothers as teachers and mentors in shaping character and values.
III. The Legacy/Virasat of Faith and Prayer
What else can you give to your kids beside wealth and richness, can’t we give them a life of Faith and Prayer.? Please fill their life with Faith and Prayer teaching. In time of trouble they will kneel to God in time of turbulence they will be strengthened by their faith in God.
Reference Verse: 2 Timothy 1:5 (NIV) - "I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also."
We see here a grandmother and a mother of Timothy who were sincere in faith and spent a prayerful life because of which paul is persuaded to Timothy for same.
Ain’t this an amazing gift a mother can pass on to their kids?
But this gift cannot be simple pass on by wrapping it into a attractive wrapper but pass on daily little by little. And Lois and Eunice did this daily little by little maintaining perseverance.
Few mothers from the Bible who are remembered for their faith and influence:
Hannah: She prayed fervently for a child and dedicated her son Samuel to serve God. Her faithfulness and trust in God's plan are highlighted in 1 Samuel.
Sarah: Despite her initial disbelief, Sarah became a mother in her old age, fulfilling God's promise. Her faith is commended in Hebrews 11.
Rebekah: She played a crucial role in ensuring the fulfillment of God's covenant promises to Abraham and Isaac. Her guidance and support were instrumental in shaping the destiny of her sons, Jacob and Esau.
Elizabeth: The mother of John the Baptist, Elizabeth was praised for her faithfulness and righteousness. She played a significant role in preparing the way for Jesus' ministry.
Remember God did not sent separate teacher to teach the above character. But through mother as guided by the spirit of God. All of the worked day and night to give the gift (teaching and instructions)

can a mother divided a bread equally for his son and other?
Can a mother accept charges against her child without bargaining.
Doesn't mother out of her love hides the bad habits of her child, instead of rebuking openly.
Small changes could bring bigger impact.
