What is that about?

Two types of Jealousy

“I want what you’ve God, and I hate you because I haven’t got it.”

“zeal to protect a love-relationship, or avenge it when broken.”

The plan of love

Is having all his people around him forever.

He is the greatest thing we could ever seek, therefore he and his glory is the goal of his love relationship with his people and creation.

Therefore, because he is jealous, he destroys the people that lead his people away

Judge the enemies of righteousness

And rescues his people

All for his holy name.

Example: Egypt

Example: The cross. He is so jealous that he himself becomes the one destroyed on behalf of his people to deliver them back to himself.
