Who are Gentiles?
Gentiles (גּוֹיִם, goyim; ἔθνος, ethnos). A word of Latin origin meaning, “belonging to a people.” The Hebrew and Greek words translated as Gentiles mean “people” or “nations.” Bible translations selectively use Gentiles to designate non-Jews.
So in the Bible is means all people without any distinction. So it people in the entire world into one category.
Isaiah 40:7 (NKJV)
The grass withers, the flower fades, Because the breath of the Lord blows upon it; Surely the people are grass.
Isaiah 40:8 NKJV

Matthew 24:14 (NKJV)
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Mark 13:10 (NKJV)
And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations.
Bible translators also use “Gentiles” for passages discussing people that do not belong to to Israel.
Acts 14:1 (NKJV)
Now it happened in Iconium that they went together to the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of the Jews and of the Greeks believed.

but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness,
Hellen word for Greeks
Galatians 3:8 (NKJV)
And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.”
Ethnos - Gentiles.
1 Corinthians 10:32 (NKJV)
Give no offense, either to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God,
In Daniel 2
Nebuchadnezzar’s had this prophetic a dream and the Chaldeans, the sorcerer's, magicians, astrologers couldn’t interpret them.
Nebuchadnezzar was furious that none of the wise men of the day could intrepet the dream so he sent a command for all of the wise men to be killed.
He sought Daniel and his companions to kill them.
But Daniel asked for time to interpret Nebuchadnezzars dream.
Daniel went to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah to seek mercies from God of heaven concerning this secret dream.
Daniel began to interpret the dream.
Each of the five elements in the dream represents a world empire.
God revealed that four great empires beginning with Babylon would characterize the period of Gentile dominion over Israel.
- The head of gold represents Babylon ( which was then conquered by the Medes and Persians in 539 BC)
The upper part of the body of silver , the empire of the Medes and Persians,
The lower part of the body of brass, the empire of Greece (Which was led by Alexander the Great who conquered the Medes and Persians)
The iron legs and feet the empire of Rome. ( The Roman empire began in the second century BC and became the greatest and more influential empire of all time.)
These four empires beginning with Babylon is referred to by Christ as “The times of the gentiles”
Luke 21:24 NKJV
And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
It is characterize by Jerusalem being under gentile control.
So most of the times of the Gentiles have already been fulfilled as seen by the rise and fall of Babylon, Medo-Persia Greece, and Rome.
The Son of Man came to destroy this image of these empires.
The stone from Mountain refers to Gods empire here on earth.
Taken as a whole, the Biblical outline of prophecy concerning the Gentiles is the outline of world history, which explains many events of the past and casts a shadow on the future.
