Our sermon today is in the form of a Question

And we will use the Bible to Answer this question

You always use the bible to Authenticate you experience

And not your experience to Authenticate the bible

Example: People say they died and went to heaven but what does the bible say about that.

John 3:13 (ESV)

13 No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.

So lets take the bible and answer this question

“ What’s a Good Mother “

1st She will Deliver her child

Psalm 127:3 (NLT)

3 Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.

Note: Even if that child was conceive through rape [ Still a Gift ]

If you are in here today

And you had an abortion

I want to tell you that God is a forgiving God

[ Repent ]

Now you can encourage another young girl

Who may be thinking about abortion

And tell them that children are a Gift from God

And God will see you through

2nd She will Develop her child

2 Timothy 1:5 (NASB95)

5 For I am mindful of the sincere faith within you, which first dwelt in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am sure that it is in you as well.

Give this child what He or She NEEDS

Not what you didn’t have as a child

3rd She will Discipline her child

Proverbs 13:24 (ESV)

24 Whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him.

Proverbs 29:17 (ESV)

17 Discipline your son, and he will give you rest; he will give delight to your heart.

4th She will Direct her child

Proverbs 22:6 (ESV)

6 Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
