Acts 2:15–20 NKJV

What is The Day (Feast) of Pentecost?

50 Days after Passover

Passover marks the last plague and coming out of Egypt

Pentecost is the same time period between the time Israel left Egyptian Bondage and Moses going up the mountain and encountering the Shekinah - the Glory of God in lightning and thundering and received the Law of God - The 10 Commandments

The people were invited up but were to afraid to go - but God had invited everyone into His Presence

Some where around Day 45 to 48 of the Exodus is when the manna from Heaven started to fall

During the Jewish feast of Pentecost, they read from the Scroll of Ruth

Ruth left a foreign land

Came to Israel

Met a Kinsman Redeemer and was blessed with abundance

Passover marks the end of the Barley harvest and the beginning of the wheat harvest

No one can partake of any of the wheat harvest until after Pentecost

All other Jewish Feast are multiple days Passover and Tabernacles are 7 days

Pentecost is 1 day, because it was time to go into the harvest

Pentecost marks the end of leaving and the beginning of sending

Luke 24:49–53 NKJV

49 “Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.” 50 And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. 51 Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven. 52 And they worshiped Him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, 53 and were continually in the temple praising and blessing God. Amen.

Pentecost Marks the shift from the Multiplication through Jesus hands to Multiplication through Our Hands

35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? The Fire Comes Comes when we Tarry (Pray) for Spiritual Power

But no one could participated in the Harvest prior to Pentecost

Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. We Must Choose to Receive the Power
