A life on display

Matthew 5:14–16 ESV

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Introduction

I want to talk to you this morning about the idea of “Living a life on Display”

Last week we talked about faith in the midst of the storm.

Today I want to stay in the same general area of preaching and talk about how god uses our lives in general to bring other to the kingdom and to bring him glory.

You are the light of the word

We are the lamp..

He is the fire…

We are the mirror..

he is the relection

Christ is truely the light.. he is the illumination

So how do we shine brightest?

Keep our mirrior clean

sin causes the mirrior to absorb light instead of reflecting light

Keep out mirror uncovered.

Let the light shine

let god do things in your life that let the light shine in you..

so people will see whats going on in you and glorify god..
