Blessing for the Class of 2024

Blessing

Heavenly Father,

Tonight we celebrate new beginnings for each of these young people. Thank you for giving them to us for a season as parents, friends, pastors, leaders, and teachers. We bless them as you have taught us, Jesus, as they start a new season of life.

May you keep God’s Word in your hearts, so that you will live not just a long life. You will live satisfying one.

May loyalty and kindness surround you and mark you all your days, so that you find favor with God and man.

May you trust in the Lord with ever fiber of your being. May you seek Jesus in all you do, so that Jesus will show you the plan He has for your life.

May you always live in wonder of God and who He is, so that you can turn easily from evil and be strong in the LORD.

Tonight LORD, we give these graduates back to You knowing they were never really ours.

May we constantly and consistently encourage these young people to keep Your Word, Jesus, in their hearts as we also keep Your Words in our hearts

May we model loyalty to God and kindness to people so that we can continue to grow in this new season.

May we trust You, Father, with their future, so that we will not be a hindrance to what you are doing in their lives.

May we be so captivated by Your presence, Jesus, that there is no where else we would rather be.

We all fix our thoughts on the truth of God’s Word.

We fix our thoughts on things that are honorable and right.

We fix our thoughts on the purity of Your presence and the loveliness of Your creation, always admiring the works of Your hands.

We fix our thoughts on what is excellent and praise worthy.

Lord, may we all as men and women of God continue to put into practice all that You have taught us, so that Your peace that passes all understanding will be with.

It is in Your precious name Jesus…..
