James 1:22

The idea of being a doer of the Word is that the Holy Spirit seeks to develop Christlikeness within us.
We must properly understand the Cross, or we won’t obtain being a doer of the Word.
We cannot just be consecrated or dedicate to be doer of the Word.
We must understand the sacrifice of Christ and place our faith therein and the Holy Spirit will then help us do what needs to be done.
It only happens in the finished work of Jesus Christ. (Romans 8:1-2,11).
If one hears the Word properly, one will then do the Word.
We will never hear the Word properly when we are prideful and think we know it all, self-righteous; in other words, we won’t receive from God.
Isaiah 66:2—”But to this poor man will I look, even to him that is poor (poor in spirit) and a contrite spirit, and who trembles at My Word.
The opposite of this which is pride, keeps untold multitudes from being saved, and as well keeps untold numbers of Christians from receiving what the Lord has for them.
When received from a pure heart, and humble before the Lord, the Word will be ingrafted or implanted which speaks of seed that is growing and is meant to make us doers of the Word.
Isaiah 66:23—A mirror only gives the external expression; while the Word of God gives that which is internal.
We must have a proper understanding.
We must seek His Word and do it.
When we do this, we will be anointed.
We must be broken before the hand of the Lord.
