Hebrews 11:1-3
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 Indeed, by faith our ancestors received approval. 3 By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible.

Ronin and Black Widow
he has lost his wife and his family in a blink of a eye with no explantion
fast forward 5 years the heros say that theres a possiblity for them to bring his family back
and as he is talking to them he cut them off and tells them not to give him Hope.
the posbilty of some the good happeneing for wasnt worth the heartbreak that would happen if the plan fails.
and becuase of his current heartbreak he is weary.
In the last 5 years weariness has become a epidemic
espeacally after Covid
just because your not phyically doing something dosnt just mean physical , but it can be mental, emotion and even spiritual
The definition of weariness is a state of being physically, mentally, or emotionally tired or exhausted. It encompasses a range of feelings from mild fatigue to deep, overwhelming exhaustion. Weariness can result from various factors, including physical exertion, stress, prolonged mental activity, emotional strain, or a combination of these
Why this is So important is
Weariness can lead to a lack of faith, the lack to belive that can do or will do whatever it is he promised you.
For a christain Faith is essential its a start
Hebrews 11:1-3
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 Indeed, by faith our ancestors received approval. 3 By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible.
someof us say we have faith but we really have faith for the things that we can control and see.
and the moment something happens we are mad and heart broken, because we didnt know it was coming
Me
When im in weary seasons my season is to not talk to him, like i know your there how could you let that happen.
he always gives me space, to figure things out , to grive and to remember that he is still good .
In the middle of the seasons the common question is where are you?
God sees us in these seasons and is so faithful enough that he will not leave us
God /You
King and Prophets
The Fall out of David/Solomon’s Leadership
While he starts off with Good intentions At the end of his life he ends up looking more like pharaoh
which The down fall of The nation becuase of the leadership of the nation
there was 39 kings 19 in isreal and 20 in Judah the bible records that only 8 of the kings did what was right in the eyes of the lord.
Becuase of the mixture of Gods and theolegy the Kings of that Day resemble the kings of other nations were the king now resprented the image of God
in this tension more prophets start to rise up and they would speak what god was saying to the people and imopratntly to the leadership of the nation
most of the prophets were killed because they had no political ties to the king and they were human, so they killed for the message espcially when the people in power got feed up with the message.
Elijah’s weariness
its important that when we look at scripture we dont try to place ourselves in stories , but they are lessons for how God deals with people with simular curcustances and heart postures as we do.
He has challenged King Ahab and Jezebel.
Sees one of the most powerful displays of God presence
Even the most Capable of God people can can experternce wereiness
On the brink of this victory
He gets word that his life is in jeopardy
And this news is what breaks him.
the people of isreal saw God move and repentted and Elijah got rid of 800 prophets to false God
he was expecting great results and was met with disapointment
You Ever Got really bad news on a really good day?
1 Kings 19 1-5 Ahab told his wife Jezebel what Elijah had done and that he had killed the prophets. 2 She sent a message to Elijah: “You killed my prophets. Now I'm going to kill you! I pray that the gods will punish me even more severely if I don't do it by this time tomorrow.”
3 Elijah was afraid when he got her message, and he ran to the town of Beersheba in Judah. He left his servant there, 4 then walked another whole day into the desert. Finally, he came to a large bush and sat down in its shade. He begged the Lord, “I've had enough. Just let me die! I'm no better off than my ancestors.” 5 Then he lay down in the shade and fell asleep.
1 Kings 19 10-13 While Elijah was on Mount Sinai, the Lord asked, “Elijah, why are you here?”
10 He answered, “Lord God All-Powerful, I've always done my best to obey you. But your people have broken their solemn promise to you. They have torn down your altars and killed all your prophets, except me. And now they are even trying to kill me!”
11 “Go out and stand on the mountain,” the Lord replied. “I want you to be there when I pass by.”
All at once, a strong wind shook the mountain and shattered the rocks. But the Lord was not in the wind. Next, there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. 12 Then there was a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire.
Finally, there was a gentle breeze,[b] 13 and when Elijah heard it, he covered his face with his coat. He went out and stood at the entrance to the cave.
1 Kings 19 15-18 Elijah, you can go back to the desert near Damascus. And when you get there, appoint[c] Hazael to be king of Syria. 16 Then appoint Jehu son of Nimshi to be king of Israel, and Elisha son of Shaphat[d] to take your place as my prophet.
17 Hazael will start killing the people who worship Baal. Jehu will kill those who escape from Hazael, and Elisha will kill those who escape from Jehu.
18 But 7,000 Israelites have refused to worship Baal, and they will live.
Rest
Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV): "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
God dosnt get mad or frustrated that he is weary
he creates a space of rest and restoration for him
He sends him to a place of worship
Many times we under esitmate the power of rest
Jeremiah 31:25 (NIV): "I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint."
God promises that he is able to refresh and restore the soul
just because you take a nap dose not mean that you’ve rested
When was the last time you allowed your self to rest in his presence
weorshiping reading your bible , prayer
Reflect
Created a space for him to reflect
He asked why are you here. it wasnt like God didnt know his location he sent him there
God deals with the lies that he believed
Elijah didn’t think that God was doing anything , That he was being a by stander
"Have you ever used your limited view of a situation to serve as justification that God is not active in a certain area of your life?"
He keeps saying I’m the only one left, God quickly reminds him that he is not
False ideas have the ability to place us in prisons
when God speak truth to something it has the power to bring free dom
Resolve
God give Elijah something to do
MAin IDea :God is always ready to strengthen and encourage us, offering a renewed sense of His presence and help us face new challenges in front of us.

Matthew 17:20
“Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
Jesus said to him, “If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out, “I believe; help my unbelief!” When Jesus saw that a crowd came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You spirit that keeps this boy from speaking and hearing, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!”
22 It has often cast him into the fire and into the water, to destroy him; but if you are able to do anything, have pity on us and help us.” 23 Jesus said to him, “If you are able!—All things can be done for the one who believes.” 24 Immediately the father of the child cried out, “I believe; help my unbelief!”
What do I do when I don’t have faith
How can I have faith for today when I do t know how to move forward with tomorrow
