Seasons and Times cannot be avoided
21 And when the Lord smelled the pleasing aroma, the Lord said in his heart, “I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man’s heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.
22 While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”
Satan want to steal time or
more clear Satan want people to waste time meaning waste their life on useless things.
Christians we have the Holy Spirit to help is redeem time.
Psalm 74:15–17 “15 You split open springs and brooks; you dried up ever-flowing streams. 16 Yours is the day, yours also the night; you have established the heavenly lights and the sun. 17 You have fixed all the boundaries of the earth; you have made summer and winter.”
God never want any Christians to just stand about doing nothing and waiting for something.
No idling but be busy with something.
Even when God made a promise, he is not expecting laziness and sleeping all the time until He returns to fulfil the promise.
Don't try tor Help God to fulfil His promise, but maximize living the life He gave you by using time appropriately.
Christians we are not watching and praying.
If we know the time we will watch and pray and not just pray or just watch.
45 Immediately he made his disciples get into the boat and go before him to the other side, to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd.
46 And after he had taken leave of them, he went up on the mountain to pray.
47 And when evening came, the boat was out on the sea, and he was alone on the land.
48 And he saw that they were making headway painfully, for the wind was against them. And about the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea. He meant to pass by them,
49 but when they saw him walking on the sea they thought it was a ghost, and cried out,
50 for they all saw him and were terrified. But immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid.”
Jesus went to pray and the disciples in the boat crossed to the other side. He watched them struggle and came to help them.
32 yet when it is sown it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants and puts out large branches, so that the birds of the air can make nests in its shade.”
33 With many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it.
34 He did not speak to them without a parable, but privately to his own disciples he explained everything.
35 On that day, when evening had come, he said to them, “Let us go across to the other side.”
36 And leaving the crowd, they took him with them in the boat, just as he was. And other boats were with him.
