Be Subject to Rulers

Government is intended to punish evil and praise good.
To resist governing authorities means that we end up resisting God.
Proper government recognizes that a higher authority exists. When a judge or government officer thinks that the authority comes from themselves they end up being unrighteous.
What about governments gone wrong? Follow the example of the Lord Jesus.
Be willing to endure persecution for righteousness sake.
God is the ultimate judge.

Be Loving to Neighbors

The golden rule solves disputes between people. Government really exists to resolve disputes and protect the innocent.
Love covers a multitude of sins.
