Seven Things That Identifies Christ

Ephesians 4:1-6

Count the “one”s in Ephesians 4:4-6.

Notice that we learned that:

6 is the number for man

7 is the number for perfection and completeness.

In the Tabernacle we have 6 pieces of furniture.

In the New Testament Jesus is identified as the Great High Priest: the seventh thing that completes the Heavenly Tabernacle.

Here in Ephesians 4:4-6 we see the 7 tabernacle objects line up with the 7 “ones”:

IV. The One Lord.

V. The One Faith.

VI. The One Baptism.

one baptism,

The Brazen Laver

VII. The One God.

6 One God

The Ark of the Covenant

and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
