Heavenly Principles in Our Warfare

Colossians 1:13 ESV

He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,

For those of us who are now found in Christ

Two kingdoms not many

Kingdom of darkness

Kingdom of Heaven

This causes us to be at war

Last week I asked you clean out the home… one of the things mentioned that brings unclean spirits into the home is violating a heavenly principle

We must learn to walk in alignment the Kingdom we belong to or we become enemy to the Kingdom.

God is the creator of all things

Gen 1; John 11:44; John 1:13

He Exists independent of creation

He is going to accomplish His work even if I do not step into it

Pride Arrogance to believe without me He cannot do it

That He chooses to use me is a blessing for me

He does not need me, but chooses me

Great I am

God of all that is seen visible and invisible

All of our enemies have been defeated by Christ our Lord

God and His Word Are Infallible

2 Tim 3:16-17; Heb 4:12

All things are defined by Him

That which is considered bad or immoral is defined by Him

Language of the Dragon

Opposes the Word of God

Manipulates the Word of God

Perverts the understanding of the Word of God

Plants a seed with bad doctrine

This is why it is important to allow the Word of God to define

Evil

Sin

Our Christian walk; ie… we cannot lay another burden

Someone does something so detestable the people in church today say punish them, make them pay for their sin, it is only right and the only way we will feel restored (this is religiosity)

What amount of suffering will satisfy you? When were you granted the authority to act as God to be able to assign a debt worthy of their sin?

Outright violates the Word of God

In your self righteousness you take the throne execute punishment and deny the power of the cross ( I feel like this is the right thing does not cover this indiscretion )

the one who arrives with a repentant heart the body of believers must lift the yoke and allow the person to encounter the Lord

How can we say we are God’s people redeemed, sanctified, forgiven, and set free and yet cannot extend the same in return to another.

The Word of God and the Law of God Are An Expression of His Nature

Heb 1:3; John 20

The need for the Ceremonial Law that is fulfilled in Christ

Tell of His Nature

Indicate the parts of Him we carry in us

Cannot Say “God said” when it is leaving behind division, dissension, quarreling (these are found in the language of the Dragon not God)

Liberation and Deliverance Operates Under Rule of Law and Has Limits

Rom 7:14-15; Gal 5:13-15; Matt 25:37-40

Defined by the Greatest Command

Love the Lord your God with all your Heart, Soul, Mind

Your ministering is first to and before the Lord

Love your neighbor as yourself

The first deals with out relationship with God

Multi-Dimensional the relationship you have with the Lord must have depth

Minister who wants to minister without studying, praying, reading spending time in the intimate space… is just someone who wants to perform

Fall in Love with the Lord, (heart); Long to spend time with Him, (Soul); then is the Study, (Mind).

it is not blind but grows in depth

Know your assignment and extent of the boundaries/limits

You were called to preach the gospel everywhere

You are covered in ministry in your assigned area

Consider Jesus’ ministry

The second is dealing with One another

You cannot say you love God and hate His people

Humanity is important to Him

When you are ministering to people it must be about them and not what you get out of it

Know that breaking the laws gives way to Unclean Spirits

Incredible care must be given when handling people

break the bonds of wickedness

loose the straps of the yoke

let the oppressed go free

break every yoke

Some holding onto unforgiveness grows inbittered, and becomes a cesspool for unclean spirits… it no longer matters how much you say you love the Lord, read His word, and “worship” IS 58 tells you He does not hear it, He does not see it, It does not please Him

No One is Born Free

Through one man sin entered the world and so death; Through one man namely Jesus grace and life Rom 5

In order to be set free from slavery to sin and demonic entities one must be born again

There are some forms of deliverance that occur before the person has given their life to the Lord

Once these begin the person must be brought into a relationship with the Lord

Religiosity is hypocrisy that can redeem a man and provokes what is noted in Matt 23 perhaps you manage to “correct” them and discipline but then by your religiosity provoke the person to become twice the child of hell

Jealousy for my birth order… Middle of three myself and my sister born out of wedlock; born to non-Christian parents; My brother is born into a Christian home.

Growing up I was told how bad it was to have children out of wedlock; and the danger of “those” people who were born in non-christian homes

first of all what minister talks to children 8 and under about such things

talk about exposing children to sex and breaking their innocence lonnnnggggg before it was due

I started to lie in church about how my parents had me… No my parents were married and they were Christian

ok… you’re good then

except I would go home and be overwhelmed now not only was I a product of an illicit relationship I was a liar

They’ll never know right… except in one service my little brother overheard me telling one of the leaders that we were all good and he piped up “No remember, mom said she got married to dad after you were born, and they weren’t Christian”

Now I was really one of “those” people My parents were fornicators; I was a liar; and I wanted to fight my brother and called him stupid… which makes me a murderer. Great and I am a whole 7 years old

Thank God for the voice of the Holy Spirit who when I was 7 would speak and lead me to the cross, at the age of 9 leads me to be baptized in water, and at the age of 11 would evidence his infilling in me through a physical manifestation.

Expression of Liberty

John 4:24

How do I know when someone is set free and is walking in the Liberty given to them

Life and walk become an expression of the adoration we have for Him

someone still living in captivity is unable to openly worship Him, refuses to spend time in the intimate spaces… they avoid His presence

God is Spirit and must be worshipped in Spirit and Truth

When we call the things of the Spirit a bore but can spend 4 hours watching a sports event or burning through a show… it may indicate there is a Spiritual imbalance in our life

Some love phrasing like this but when you point it out or it is time to walk this out they accuse you of being religious or worksy or of not knowing what you are doing

In the same manner when the Word of God which is your sustenance is given in depth is not “for” you but all you want is prophetic moves there is a spiritual imbalance.

Stepping into Service

Rom 12 tells of what your spiritual worship is and that is presenting your living body for service to the Lord

You cannot say I do not want to serve I just want to listen and be entertained and think somehow this is honoring God

What it tells you is that internally there are still areas bound that are fearful of serving the Lord

No More Blame Game

James 1:13

No more blaming Satan for our own doing

He is not everywhere at once

Kingdom of Darkness takes advantage

No more blaming God

He did not make you that way

Taking responsibility for our own doing moves us from “I am victim” to the ability to face and overcome the giants we face…

We cannot continue to systematically undermine the work of the church

The church is the bride of Christ when we place the work of church for sale we provoke her to become a prostitute

When we abuse the congregation and blame her we submit her to shame

when we fill her with false teaching she becomes an adulteress

When we can look at the church, say I was called here, and within a year say she’s broken I do not want her anymore we give her a letter of divorce we abandon her

She is the bride of Christ will He stand by and allow us to do such a thing to His bride

Sure God said though right…

Demons Are Not Keepsakes

Last week you were asked to examine your home. This project will take time. I want to add an additional project to you.

It is time to search out your heart and be honest with the Lord, while this is not an exhaustive list of heavenly principles,

Lamentations 3:40–41 ESV

Let us test and examine our ways, and return to the Lord! Let us lift up our hearts and hands to God in heaven:

I understand moments like this provoke us to at times be angry or upset however, when we test our ways we may see that in violating a heavenly principle we have inadvertently allowed Unclean Spirits into our life.

Arrogance

Egoism

Anger

Unforgiveness

Bitterness

Religiousity

Necromancy

Provoking dissension in the body

Imposing our will over what God has asked

Rebellion

Command these things to depart… vessels of the Living God now it is time to set your body free.
