Peace with the people.

Isaac’s Blessings:

Attractive wife

Wealth

Flocks and herds

Many servants

Provision to maintain his property

Peace with the king

Isaac’s Problem

Isaac was not satisfied with all that God had given him.

Isaac’s Sin

He married women of the land.

Women of another faith.

Multiple women instead of being satisfied with the wife God had given him.

Isaac’s Consequences

His life became bitter.

While sin may be sweet in the beginning, it always turns bitter.
