Good morning, today we celebrate 4 young people who have graduated HS and one has recently graduated from Trinity Bible College.

Asking God this week, what is His Word to these graduates?

We live in a time when truth is considered relative – No meta truths just micro truths.
What is true for you they say may not be true for me.
This has led to a state of chaos and confusion for many.
Personal feelings are now considered the final authority on truth.
I feel like a woman, a man, a cat, a dog! Therefore, I am!
THE PROBLEM IS, YOUR FEELINGS ARE BASED ON CHEMICALS AND EMOTIONS AND NOT CONCRETE TRUTH!
Emotions and chemicals change but the Truth never changes.
Circumstance change / emotions change / brain chemistry change / TRUTH NEVER CHANGES!
GOD HAS CALLED ALL OF YOU TO STAND AND TESTIFY OF THE UNCHANGING TRUTH OF GOD!
TO STAND WHERE YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU WILL BE FOR THE TRUTH OF JESUS!
TO STAND AMIDST THE CHAOS OF THIS WORLD / THE CONFUSION OF YOUR PEERS / THE LIES OF THE DESTROYER / AND TO LIVE AND SPEAK BOLDLY THE TRUTH OF JESUS!

THERE IS A STORY OF A GROUP OF GRADUATES BEING SENT INTO THE WORLD BY JESUS TO DO EXACTLY WHAT GOD IS CALLING YOU TO.
THERE IS A STORY OF A GROUP OF GRADUATES BEING SENT INTO THE WORLD BY JESUS TO DO EXACTLY WHAT GOD IS CALLING YOU TO.
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Same story different perspective
but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”
GOD HAS CALLED YOU TO GO INTO THIS NEW PERIOD OF YOUR LIFE AND TO BE A WITNESS OF JESUS AND HIS WAYS IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
YOU WILL FACE ANGER, CHALLENGES, THREATS, AND EVEN BETRAYL
BUT GOD / JESUS /TRUTH WILL PREVAIL.

YOU WILL NOT BE ON YOUR OWN, THE HOLY SPIRIT DESIRES TO DWELL AND BE WITH YOU , TEACHING, LEADING, AND EMPOWERING.

“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever;
that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.

THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL GUIDE YOU INTO TRUTH.
THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL GUIDE YOU INTO TRUTH.
“These things I have spoken to you while abiding with you.
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
The Spirit will teach you by reminding you of the Word of God / the teachings of Jesus.
The same Spirit who inspired the Word to be written will guide you to the Word as the Truth!
“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
“He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you.
The world will try to put you in the position of a god.
The Holy Spirit will always bring you back to Jesus.
The world - self centered destruction.
The Holy Spirit - Jesus centered life.

THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL EMPOWER YOU TO DELIVER THE TRUTH EVEN IN THE MIDST OF A HOSTILE WORLD!
THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL EMPOWER YOU TO DELIVER THE TRUTH EVEN IN THE MIDST OF A HOSTILE WORLD!
and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
The Holy Spirit will empower you to be an effective witness in the midst of hostility.
WHAT POWER DOES THE HOLY SPIRIT BRING TO YOUR WITNESS OF JESUS?
Acts 16 )
Paul / Missions trip / Philippi / Meets Lydia a business woman / leads her and her husband to Jesus / Baptizes both / Paul then runs into a Slave girl / she had a demon spirit / slave masters made money off of her communicating to spirits / Paul freed her from the spirit / Slave owners and others mad / beaten with rods / Paul is thrown in jail / feet shackled/ Midnight Paul and Silas are singing and praying / earth quake / prison doors opened / jailer tried to commit suicide because he thought his prisioners had escaped / Paul yelled that all the prisioners were still there / Jailor fell and asked-what must I do to be saved / Early in the morning Paul baptized him and his entire family.
The Holy Spirit will empower you to witness to a world that is hostile to Jesus.
No matter how much the world hates you, the HS will use you to rescue people from this wicked age.
Without the HS your words will fall to the ground
With the HS your words will become powerful.
Pray over those in need - see God heal them
Cast out devils
Declare Jesus to all
Watch the HS perform miracles and save those around you.

THE HOLY SPIRIT DESIRES TO DWELL IN YOU
THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL GUIDE YOU INTO TRUTH
THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL EMPOWER YOU TO BE AN EFFECTIVE WITNESS OF JESUS.

GRADUATES, YOU ARE CALLED BY GOD, SAVED THROUGH JESUS, AND EMPOWERED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.
GO INTO THE WORLD, STAND AND TESTIFY OF JESUS IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
STAND FOR TRUTH
FOLLOW THE LEADING OF THE HS
MAKE DISCIPLES OF JESUS WHEREVER YOU GO!
AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD WILL EMPOWER YOU IN WAYS YOU CANNOT IMAGINE.
YOU WILL HAVE A KINGDOM IMPACT ON THIS WORLD THROUGH THE HS.
TODAY, WE YOUR CHURCH, COMMISSION YOU, WHERE EVER YOU GO, STAND AND TESTIFY OF JESUS, MAKE DISCIPLES, TEACH ALL TO OBEY JESUS. GO IN THE AUTHORITY OF JESUS, GO IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, GO AND BE A WITNESS OF GOD’S WONDEROUS WAYS!
CALL THE THREE GRADUATES WHO ARE HERE TO COME UP. Claire - AJ - Jessica please come to the front.
Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit,
We are to be continually filled and refilled with the Holy Spirit.
Today, we are going to pray over you, asking the HS to fill you, empower you, and lead you into all truth.
As Jesus commissioned His disciples to go and make disciples by the power of the HS
We today are commissioning you
And praying the HS will come upon you, saturate you, and fill you!
CALL ELDERS, DEACONS, AND FAMILY MEMBERS TO COME AND STAND BY THE GRADUATES.
WE ARE GOING TO PRAY TODAY FOR A FRESH OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT ON YOUR LIVES.
PRAYER – INDWELLING OF THE SPIRIT / EMPOWERMENT OF THE SPIRIT TO: GUARD THEIR HEARTS AND MINDS / LEAD THEM INTO ALL TRUTH / BRAVERY TO STAND AND WITNESS / EMPOWERMENT TO LEAD PEOPLE TO JESUS AND MAKE DISCIPLES.
