Live through suffering

Intro
Life we live is full of suffering, James is ending how he started
James 1:2–4 ESV
2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
How do we deal with the suffering
We be patient: Like the farmer the fruit is coming
Lord is at hand “What that means” AKA Time periods of salvation
In our patience we have to worry about the bigger picture, especially with each other
Grumble, sigh, when we don’t get what we want Colossians 3:12-13
Colossians 3:12–13 ESV
12 Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, 13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
Ephesians 4:1–3 ESV
1 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, 3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Romans 15:5–6 ESV
5 May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, 6 that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalm 119:71 ESV
71 It is good for me that I was afflicted, that I might learn your statutes.
Romans 5:3 ESV
3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
Romans 8:28 ESV
28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
It is temporary
1 Peter 5:10 ESV
10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
2 Corinthians 4:17 ESV
17 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,
Revelation 21:4 ESV
4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”
Romans 8:18 ESV
18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
PRAY
Pray for the patience, pray for the endurance
Praise when things are good
Pray can heal the sick both physical and spiritual
Romans 10:1 ESV
1 Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved.
1 Timothy 2:1–3 ESV
1 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. 3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,
Confess your sins to one another
The Point is how people come to Christ Challenge is to find one person and pray for them
