1 Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.
2 And a man lame from birth was being carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple that is called the Beautiful Gate to ask alms of those entering the temple.
3 Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive alms.
4 And Peter directed his gaze at him, as did John, and said, “Look at us.”
5 And he fixed his attention on them, expecting to receive something from them.
6 But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!”
7 And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong.
8 And leaping up, he stood and began to walk, and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God,
10 and recognized him as the one who sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, asking for alms. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
Introduction:
Beautiful Gate > Life itself is Beautiful
The womb is a dark environment void of visual stimulation. Consequently, vision is the most poorly developed sense at birth and time is needed to build those neural pathways between the eye and the brain.
When a person is born without one or more senses, such as sight, hearing, taste, smell, or touch, their brain adapts to prioritize and enhance that which remains.
For example, individuals born blind may develop heightened senses of touch, hearing, and smell to compensate for their lack of vision.
Similarly, those born deaf might rely more on visual and tactile cues for communication and environmental awareness.
Power to Activate/ True transformation can only take place in through Jesus.
The Apostle Luke is accredited d with writing the book of Acts.
In Acts 1 4, Jesus says stay in Jerusalem and wait for the Promise of the Father.
And they asked jesus, when will you restore the kingdom to Israel?
Jesus replies it is not for you to know the time or season but you shall receive power.
We know that the disciples, waited for 10 days and while they waited they continued on one accord with prayer and supplication.
4 And while staying with them he ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, he said, “you heard from me;

In first century Jerusalem a “beggar” would have represented one of the lowest, least valued, and cast aside people in society.
However, as much as people looked down on the needy like this, they also recognized some responsibility and virtue in helping them.
The lame were not allowed to enter the Temple, they were permitted to beg for alms at the Temple gates.
6 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die—
8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.
2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

My season of living beneath my means is OVER. Living Less than what God designed for me is over.
THE KEY: BE TRANSFORM BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND
STOP TELLING YOURSELF THAT ITS NOT POSSIBLE
I. Don’t count me out.
I. I was dependent on Drugs, Sex, Anti-depressants, Gambling, Alcohol.....Social Media Addiction.
II. Dependent on everything else and everybody else to carry you….Daily-
16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds,”
17 then he adds, “I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.”
18 Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin.
19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus,
20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh,
21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
1. You are no longer a slave to sin.
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
2. Stop allowing the enemy to remind you of your past.
Draw near unto God with a Pure heart
11 You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
You give a few coins to a poor person, or a piece of bread to someone who is hungry. It helps them, a bit… it is a form of mercy or charity, but it doesn’t change the persons’ circumstances. They are still poor. They are still hungry. They are still a beggar, just a little less so for a brief time.
John 4th chapter, whosoever drinks of this water shall never thirst.
MONEY cant remedy a lame man.
Jesus is the remedy
II.Rest in Expectation
Peter:
Matthew 16 Jesus is in Caesarea Philippi He asked peter
Whom do men say that I the son of man am?
14 And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
16 Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17 And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
You’ve got to stick with what works - Jesus.
14 If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.
15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever,
What has God anointed you to do? You have to Get up
The world is waiting on you
There can be no transformation (in the world) without you; God didn't save you for you to keep silence - stay lame.
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
And you shall receive power after the Holy ghost has come.
III.Redirect your focus to Strengthen your walk
7 And he took him by the right hand and raised him up, and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong.
8 And leaping up, he stood and began to walk, and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God,
10 and recognized him as the one who sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, asking for alms. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
I. When you use his name, The lame has to walk, Blind must see, Those who are broken and lost must be restored.
II. People are fare too busy looking for a word from God in every other than where his voice is clearly revealed.
III. Leap - God is turning your misery into ministry.
