From Liberation to Liberators

The work to this point has been to highlight the things we have in our home or carry in our person that causes us to need to be restored

There is a work that has become so clouded we often avoid it in our Christian walk

Ministration to the soul is a work that aids in the work of being set free

the finality of this work is

God gets the glory

you carry the glory of the Lord in you no longer bound to the things that once held it in check

According to Mark 7 the deliverance that is intrinsically tied to ministration of the soul is two fold

first it is our bread… which makes it a right to be set free

secondly it is a reward for those who call upon the name of Christ to walk in complete freedom as they walk in the Lord.

John 8:31–32 ESV

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

this freedom is conditioned

you abide in His word

then you are truly His disciples

then you will know the truth

and the truth will set you free

It is a work that brings light into the dark spaces or spaces held captive

What I would like to embark on if the Holy Spirit will allow to help us grasp no longer be afraid of ministration to the soul is

The minister who is preaching may have an idea of the general issues the congregation is facing but because they have not sat with the person to examine what has happened is (without the revelation of the Holy Spirit) unaware of the specific battles or roots the person is dealing with.

A Liberated life is the foundation of our creation

Adam and Eve formed and given their freedom operated in the fullness of a liberated life and were confined only by the boundaries given by God

breaking the boundary set by God provokes us to be in a state in which our freedom is degraded to the point in which we go from bound, to captive, to possessed (or conquered)

We profess our freedom in our Declaration of Independence “…endowed by our creator, Liberty”

Phases of Deliverance

This phase is where the believer is walking out their deliverance/liberated life

The believer is responsible to guard and maintain their deliverance

The freedom/liberation we have in Christ was first for Liberation

We can walk unhindered or freely as we bring this liberty to those around us

That is how can we be participant in bringing others into liberation if we ourselves have not been set free

Liberation does not mean we can walk in a libertine manner in which morals and ethics are not accounted for

Paul 1 Cor 10 states all things are licit (lawful) not all things are helpful (beneficial) we must walk in accordance to the boundaries our creator made
