YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO SCRIPTURE!!!
YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO SCRIPTURE!!!
1: “It is Reliable!”
1: “It is Reliable!”
“The Word of God Contains over 2500 Prophecies, 2000 of which have been fulfilled to the very word.
“The Bible has survived the test of time, and supernaturally slipped through the hands of people whose very mission was to destroy it.”
“Over 5500 Manuscripts of the New Testament exist to cross reference with our modern Bible.
“ over 19000 translations of the Bible exist, all of which have incredible accuracy to the original texts.”
“The care of the old testament scriptures was considered to be sacred. This means they were preserved with care, this means we have alot of old testament original documents.”
As an example the dead sea scrolls have been able to show great accuracy to the translation of the old testament, I don’t have numbers to back this up but words related to the accuaracy of the scripture were “astonishing” and “supernatural”.

“Turning to what scripture says Isaiah 40:8 “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” THIS IS A COMFORT, We have reliability in Christ. Matthew 24:35 Backs this up too “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”
2: “IT’S WORDS HAVE POWER”.
2: “IT’S WORDS HAVE POWER”.
Matthew 4:4,Matthew 4:7,Matthew 4:10 “Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “ ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’ ”
3: “IT IS FOR ALL PEOPLE”
3: “IT IS FOR ALL PEOPLE”
The Bible is for all people, Its for the sinner “Joshua 2, we see Rahab a sinful prostitue, used by the Lord to protect his men as they spied on Jericho, despite her sin, Her life is highly important to the story of the bible.”
“ Its for people in hard situations. In Ruth we see the story of a widowed mother and daughter in law, returned to glory by a redeemer, even through a complicated family past Ruth has a big role in the story of the Bible.”
“And its for those who have been hurt. In 2 Samuel we watch David raise to power and immediately mess it all up by killing his right hand military man through battle, so he can obtain his beautiful wife.”
Testimony
What I experienced: Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
It molds us: through teaching.
It renews us: When we read it, it feeds and renews our spirit.
Two verses that
James 4:7–9 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.”
Matthew 4:1–4 “Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And after fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. And the tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.” But he answered, “It is written, “ ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ””
