하나님의 능력

‘When there were no conditions for you, when you had no understanding in that regard, that is, when you had no demands or wishes, God raised you from the dead in your sins and trespasses.

So, Paul is now explaining to the church, linking chapters 1 to 2, “Do you know how much strength, wisdom, and zeal it is that you are now children of God?”

Apostle Paul wants the church to know how powerful and great the power of God is that you were called to as the church.

And because he wanted to make the church aware of the Apostle Paul's confidence that he who began a good work in us (the church) will completely work out our salvation by the day of Christ, so Paul now is continuing to explain about that power to the church in Ephesus.

That is what we call faith.

So, faith is not deepened by fasting for 40 days, nor is it deepened by having a mystical experience.

Our faith becomes deeper as we know God.

Faith comes from knowing who God is and how great and high He is.
