The Lost are not predestined to anything

Something concerns me - The will of God for all of this children is for us to be conformed to the image of his Son, Jesus Christ.

Robbing God of His Glory This church is today because of me and what I did

And a Spirit of Complacency Seeing and knowing there’s a need in the church, but a refusal to serve it. We know that to serve the church is to serve Christ’s bride, yet there’s this spirit all over the our own nation that reuses to take responsibility mostly because, “It’s someone else’s job to take of it”

This type of person does not bare the image of Jesus — Maybe the World, maybe the Old Man, maybe the Devil’s image, but certainly not the Lord’s

This is not how we are to live

Some of you are ALLOWING something in your life to destroy to mar the image of Jesus — And that is concerning to me

MIRROR — He saw something in that image that wasn’t supposed to be there

Our’s:

He had brought me to a place of decision - Be conformed and transformed… or put on the old man and make another excuse why I couldn’t change?

But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

I HAVE DECIDED

“The King of Glory has transformed me

The old life, I have left behind”

Imagine singing that song… while being so quick and willing to choose to live this life without repentance

How embarrassing when the Sons/Daughters of God, who know the truth and his will in their salvation to be conformed to Jesus, but instead, we conformed ourselves to the old, sinful, powerless man who chooses the sin against his grace

Is there no one bothered by this anymore? Is there no one who still desires to be like him? or have we given up the good fight and chosen our lives?

SERIOUSLY… what hope do we have to like Him in the 1st place?

Galatians 2:20 (KJV 1900)

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

We are more than conquerors through Jesus, and we can take heart that He is already doing his will in our lives.

He is rich in mercy, and through His Spirit, if you have the desire to be like Him in this life, you can trust that He wouldn’t ask of you something impossible for you, not without enabling you.

AND I”M TELLING YOU NOW… THE OLD ISN’T IT

I know it’s hard to right, it’s hard to give grace to those who didn’t give it you.

Sometimes we think that Jesus meant to be nice to people to make them miserable when he said “heaping coals of fire on their head” when it was meant for the purpose of reconciliation

It isn’t easy to be kind

But that’s not how we live our lives

No mistaking it, that’s your child

Behaving like her daddy

That’s how we are to live our lives, we are children of God now. We are predestined to be like Him.

God has His reason for conforming us to His Son’s image

One of those reasons is found in our final verse

John 17:21 (KJV 1900)

That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

How can they know and believe on Him when His own children, who have been transformed by his power, are still acting and appearing like they were before He saved them?

There’s a solution to that — Be like Him

you are transformed, a child of God, one his own

He is working in you His will, one day, that work will be finished

Don’t fight against His working in this life, do your part

Repent and be like Him that the World might know that God sent the Son
