How to be delivered a troubled Heart

1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Background
As Jesus was coming to end of his earthly ministry, He shared with disciples that he would be betrayed and the time of departure was coming soon.
Imagine how the news of their leader departure trouble them.
The leader they left all to follow, the leader they saw who done raise the dead, walk on water, and fed over five thousand with a small amount of fish and loaves.
Separation from the All man and God had to be terrifying.
The disciples were greatly troubled
The disciples needed to be settled down and given some sense of peace: to receive some encouragement and some new hope.
Trouble will come to all of us on this earth! However, as believers who follow Christ trouble do not have get in hearts.
Today some of us have troubled heart because of the political division, the inflated cost of living, a health issue, relationship problems, growing old, the wars that are happening between Israel and Gaza, Ukrine and Russia. The uncertainties about our future. Job chapter 14: 1 says
1 Man that is born of a woman Is of few days, and full of trouble.
On the hand John chap says John 14:1
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Define the term heart
Heart: (kardia) inner self, will, emotions, thoughs,and the seat of desires. Proverbs 4:23
23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life.
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.
11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Define troubled
(tarassestho): disturbed, agitated, perplexed, worried, tossed about, confused, distressed.
Trouble, trail and tribulation will com However as believer in Christ our heart at peace in the midst of trouble.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Jesus said that deliverance from troubled heard comes through four things.
1. Let not your heart be troubled because(14:1) Belief-Faith-Deliverance: deliverance from troubled hearts comes through belief in Jesus Christ as well as in God.
This belief from heart transformation that come receiving, repenting, and have an intimate relationship with God (getting to KNOW HIM)
2. Let not your heart be troubled because(14:2) Heaven-Hope: deliverance from troubled hearts comes through the hope for God's house, mansion, home dwelling place,
Our hope is not just in the world 1 Cor 15:19
19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
Our hope is in God Kingdom (home, dwell place) to come and His will be done. Rev 21:3-4
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
3. Let not your be troubled because(14:2) Jesus Christ, Death; Resurrection-Exaltation: deliverance from troubled hearts comes through Jesus' work.
Jesus worked to prepare a place for us. John 9:4
4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
"Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many" (Mt.20:28).
The battle is not our but in the LORD’s
"That ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power" (Ep.1:18-19).
13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
4) vs 3. Let not your heart be troubled because deliverance from a troubled heart come through Jesus' indwelling, return, and eternal life with Him,
On earth his kingdom come - because He is our comforter and He dwell with us and empowers us John 14:26
26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
When we pass from this earth_ we will be present with Him 2 Cor 5:8
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Because have this blessed him our heart can be free from even though our circumstances may be full of trouble.
1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
Today give your life by receiving His grace and repenting from your sins....
"Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" (Tit.2:12-13).
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Don’t let you heart be troubled; give your heart to him today!!
Find a good church, get involved and help build God’s kingdom!
