Jesus replied, “Now is not the right time for me to go, but you can go anytime. 7 The world can’t hate you, but it does hate me because I accuse it of doing evil. 8 You go on. I’m not going to this festival, because my time has not yet come.” 9 After saying these things, Jesus remained in Galilee.

We cannot be a part of the world and be apart of Christ.
When we are one with Jesus, when we let Him take over our hearts there is a change in our soul, such that our very character begins to shape itself into the likeness of Christ.
We will never be like Christ in the way of perfection, but our lives, attitudes, and decisions will reflect that of Christ, as the moon does the sun we begin to show a Christlike lifestyle and change is inevitable.
If we use this moon analogy, (it might be a little overused, though it still is a good visual), the moon without the sun would be just another dark spot in the sky, it would blend in so much so that we would scarcely notice it.
Due to the suns brilliance, it is make bright, it cant help but change and shine, reflecting the light on us.
If we claim to be Christians, if we claim to have Jesus in our hearts, we can’t help but change!
If your theology doesn’t change your behavior, it will never change your destiny.
Charles Spurgeon
We are spurred, pushed, and driven to change.
When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, the things we once where use to, the vises that held us down and controlled us, begin to fade away.
Our priorities and decisions reflect those of Jesus and what He has for our lives.
2 Corinthians 6:11–7:1 NKJV
O Corinthians! We have spoken openly to you, our heart is wide open. You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted by your own affections. Now in return for the same (I speak as to children), you also be open. Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
The world would not hate angels for being angelic, but it does hate men for being Christians. It grudges them their new character; it is tormented by their peace; it is infuriated by their joy.
William Temple (bishop)
