The Transfer of priesthood
The Transfer of priesthood
The Believer in Christ is a Priest
Now the believer has access to God through the finished work of the cross.
What God did for Israel in the old covenant He did for us in the new covenant.
We have authority to enter the altar of God which is the throne room of grace
God has called all believers everywhere from all nations to a ministry of priesthood to offer up our bodies, our lives, & spiritual sacrifices.
1 Peter 2:5 “you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”
What are spiritual sacrifices?
Your prayers
Your praise
Your time
Your talents
Your Bodies

1 Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;”
1 Peter 2:9 extends this priesthood role to the followers of Christ.

Isaiah 61:6 “But you shall be named the priests of the Lord, They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast.”
Revelation 5:9 “And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll, And to open its seals; For You were slain, And have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,”
We have a more powerful altar through the blood of Jesus
We have a more powerful altar through the blood of Jesus
We attend to this altar in The Spirit by following the pattern of The Lord.
He makes intercession
Hebrews 7:25 “Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”
He sacrificed his body
That is why Christ said as he came into the world, “O God, the blood of bulls and goats cannot satisfy you, so you have made ready this body of mine for me to lay as a sacrifice upon your altar.
He Jesus comes from the tribe of Judah which means praise. Our praise comes through the sacrifice of our lips
Hebrews 13:15 “Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.”
Let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving and sing joyfully about his glorious acts.
The altar of the Lord is built not in a physical sense but in The Spirit.
How does the altar of the Lord get built in some ones life?
How does the altar of the Lord get built in some ones life?
It starts with true repentance and confession.
With the laying down of ones life
How does an evil altar get built in some ones life
How does an evil altar get built in some ones life
It is built upon sin & iniquity
It is passed down through family lineages
It is built upon offering up the lives of people, relatives in family’s or even blood.
Leviticus 17:11 “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’”
Blood is a life source in the spirit.
Blood is a life source in the spirit.
The blood of Jesus does four things for us.
It redeems us
It cleanses us
It justifies us (makes us righteous before God)
It sanctifies us (makes us Holy)
Blood spilled or offered up to evil altars
Brings curses
Brings judgement & condemnation
Brings evil occurences
Brings infirmities
Brings barrenness
Hinders territories and regions from receiving The Gospel
Brings poverty & lack
The blood of Jesus speaks better things
Hebrews 12:24 “to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.”
The Shedding of Abel’s blood brought judgement for sin against his brother Cain who murdered him, The Lord’s blood brings forgiveness and redemption
Satan influenced Cain to shed innocent blood by murdering his brother.
God sent His only Son that by the shedding of His blood we are made free from the power of sin and saved from God’s judgment
You can usually see the patterns of evil altars & their results through

Prayer: Lord I thank you for your sacrifice at the cross of Calvary, where i’m made clean and declared righteous by the shedding of your blood. I thank you for granting me access to the throne of grace and your eternal altar where I’m made a priest and identified as your son or daughter in the family of the saints. With this access to your altar I stand in the gap and destroy every evil altar over my life , my family’s lineage, and all altars erected in my region. I throw them down today in the name of Jesus and by The power of His blood, I break any and all covenants made by sacrifice to demons and other spirits to continue their evil activity, Today I stand on the promises of a greater priesthood to establish the altar of The Lord in my family, my life, and my region. In Jesus name I pray Amen.
