Apostasy is like a bottomless hole. Once you fall you keep falling.

Modern Cults claiming to be Christians.

Here are the WAYS we know apostasy has set in:

I. A Wrong View Of Soul-winning. v.20

20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

II. A Wrong View Of Salvation. v.21

21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

III. A Wrong View Of The Second Coming. v.22

22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

IV. A Wrong View Of The Saviour. vs.23-25

Warnings about false Christs. v.23

23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.

Warnings about His day. v.24

24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

V. A Wrong View About Society. vs.26-32

Society will be like Noah’s day. vs.26-27

26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

Just how precise is your King James Bible?

What is the first occurrence of Noah?

Genesis 5:29 “And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.”

Is “Noe” the wrong word? It is only used in the Gospels

How many times does it occur in the Gospels?

FIVE with v.27 being the fifth.

Then in 1 Peter 3:20 and 2 Peter 2:5 “Noah” shows back up!

2 Peter 2:5 “And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;”

In the 5th occurrence of “Noah” in

Genesis 6:8 “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.”

…the “8” shows up.

Society will be like Lot’s day. vs.28-32

28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot;

they did eat,

they drank,

they bought,

they sold,

they planted,

they builded;

29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

(Revelation 16:8 “And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.”)

This is not hard to understand because in the Millennium, when Christ comes back, the sun is going to be seven times brighter than it is now (Isa. 30:26).

31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

32 Remember Lot’s wife.

VI. A Wrong View About Surrender. v.33

33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

VII. A Wrong View About The Snatching Away. vs.34-37

34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

It never said they were Sodomites!

35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

What we see is two sleeping on one side of the world and four working on the other side. Daylight and night time at the same time.

37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
