Introduction: It was Said on Facebook Make America Godly Again. It will only happen when the Church gets back to the Great Commission and teaching people the doctrine of the Bible. The Holy Spirit has to convict people of their sins, and they have to willingly turn from their sins. We can’t force them to do it!!!

I seems to me that we are back in the Crusades again.

I. Peter Tried to Defend Jesus with a Sword

A. Peter Cut Off the High Priest’s Servant Right Ear

B. Jesus Said to Peter Put Up Your Sword in the Sheath

John 18:8–12 “8 Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way: 9 That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spake, Of them which thou gavest me have I lost none. 10 Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus. 11 Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath:

C. Jesus Him That He Had to Drink the Cup that His Father Give Him

the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it? 12 Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him,”

D. In Matthew, Jesus Said that All That Take Up the Sword Will Perish by a Sword

Matthew 26:52 “52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.”

II. Saul Tried to Keep the Christian in the Jewish Religion by Killing Them

A. They Stoned Stephen, and They Laid Down Their Clothes at Saul’s Feet

Acts 7:58 “58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul.”

B. Saul Mad Havock of the New Testament Church and Put Men and Women in Prison

Acts 8:1–4 “1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles. 2 And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him. 3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

C. It Cause Them to Be Scattered Everywhere Preaching the Word

4 Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.

III. Saul Was Confronted on the Road to Damascus by Jesus for Persecuting Jesus

A. A Light from Heaven Show on Saul

Acts 9:1–6 “1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, 2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem. 3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

B. Jesus Said to Saul that He Was Persecuting Him

4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? 5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. 6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.”

C. Saul Became Paul and Preached the Gospel Writing Most of the New Testament

IV. Hitler Was Supported Gassing the Jews by the Church in Germany, Because They Would Not Become Christians to Become Part of the Church, Catholic Church

V. The Muslims Cut People Heads Off for Not Becoming Muslims or Going Against the Muslim Religion

VI. God Gives Everyone the Right to Live for Him or Not

A. Joshua Told to People to Chose You This Today Whom You Will Serve

Joshua 24:22–24 “22 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the Lord, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses. 23 Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the Lord God of Israel. 24 And the people said unto Joshua, The Lord our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.”

B. Elijah Told the Israelites to Chose Between Worshiping Baal or God

1 Kings 18:20–21 “20 So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel. 21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

C. God Allows Us to Chose to Accept Salvation or Not

1 Thessalonians 5:8–10“8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.”
