Acts 16:16-34

What’s your response in the darkest night
When you’ve had a bad day what do you run to in the evenings to turn that day around? When you find yourself stressed out where does your mind go to relieve the stress?
The fact of the matter is many of us turn to things that are not the Lord in times of difficulty or stress. Many of us have a lean to tiktok or youtube when things aren’t going our way. Or to make it more broad, if I can just grab my phone and participate in some endless scrolling for 30 minutes then I can decompress and gather myself again. Maybe if I can just see what sales Amazon has right now I’ll feel better.
Many times in those moments we are looking for rest, relaxation, comfort, to feel refueled, or for something to melt all our worries away.
Rest is found in Jesus, the Holy Spirit is literally called a comforter, you need somewhere to put your worries, let me show you a man who said to cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you
Only Paul and Silas prayed, but everyone participated in the blessings
Your worship can impact those around you. Someone else can receive a blessing just because of how you worship the Lord in your life.
No one is out of the reach of a loving God for salvation
This jailer was a Roman, he was partnered with those that killed Jesus. The Jews had Jesus killed but the Romans executed Him.
