So blessed to be here….

The best is served last. It keeps getting better.
thankful to everyone…..
Brother and Sister Chavis are giants to my wife and I. We have such respect. I was able to take Bro Chavis out fishing one year in Alaska.
He made all this possible. By blessing us. What we have in common is Jesus.
Colossians 3:17
17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Salvation is in the name of Jesus.
Victory is in the name of Jesus.
Philippians 2:10-11 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Threats
There's an elder in Sitka . He wouldn't come into the church. But he saw the power of God in his daughter. He was a Medicine man.
His daughter was struggling with meth. And nothing he did worked. Couldn't burn sage.
But once his daughter came to church. The Lord delivered her. He would look in the church from the car. Knew there was power
I invited him to church. He sent a meme.
An old Eskimo man…

Gen 15:10-12

10 And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not. 11 And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away. 12 And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.

Covenant: an agreement between God and his people in which God makes certain promises and requires certain behavior from them in return.

We are in covenant with God
Born again. Born of the Water and Spirit
Jeremiah 31:31–34 “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, That I will make a new covenant With the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers In the day that I took them by the hand To bring them out of the land of Egypt; Which my covenant they brake, Although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, And write it in their hearts; And will be their God, And they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: For they shall all know me, From the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: For I will forgive their iniquity, And I will remember their sin no more.”
Gen 15:1
15 After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

2 And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?

3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir. 4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir. 5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. 6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness. 7 And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it. 8 And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it? 9 And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

The Lord Told Abraham count the stars, see it. See it in your minds eye. That is how many kids you will have.
Romans 4:17–19 KJV 1900
(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:
Abraham believed the Lord.
Abraham mean father of nations. No kids
I, Like Abraham wanted to see a soul saved. Win a soul… Some how Lord send someone my way…
Hebrews 11:1–3 KJV 1900
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
faith is the substance of things hoped for.
It is important that we have faith in God.
Matthew 9:28 “And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.”
Do you believe?
John 5:6 KJV 1900
When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
Faith as a mustard seed…
Matthew 17:20 “And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
Brother French in his book talked about coming to Alaska by faith…
He was knowing that with the Lord he was going to start some churches. He had 9 bucks and a burden.
He was able to see it in his minds eye. I know the Lord is going to do his part, i just got to get there.
Cold flowing waters….
once he got to sitka, there was no place for church. the town was booming.
but there was one building, and it was considered cursed. Because of the betrayal that took place there.
the Sitka native tribe called for peace, and wanted to make a covenant with the Wrangle tribe.
once the tribe showed up from wrange, they all disarmed, and met on the top floor of the building. once the warriors from, the sitka tribe went in with knives. it was said in the book that the blood flowed down the stairs.
the building was considered cursed.
People will Let you down, but the Lord will never fail.
Because brother french was in covenant with God, that building became the first church in sitka, and they got it for cheap.
Hebrews 13:5 “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
Receiving the Holy Ghost, we must have faith. Believing God. Knowing that He is going to fill us.
Because it is His promise….
Acts 2:17–21 “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Acts 2:39 “For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”
The promise doesn't not exclude us.
Every notice that? it is easy to believe the promise of the Lord. For everyone else. Just not us…
! would tell the young people seeking the Lord.
Do you believe the Lord want’s to fill you with the Holy Ghost?
Yes….
Can you see yourself receiving the Holy Ghost, what does that look like?
Maybe it looks like you are about to enter through a door. Jesus said I am the door.
Or maybe it looks like the Lord is pouring His Spirit on your head.
How about the, out of your belly, shall flow rivers.
Can you see it?
Faith…
Now see yourself reaching out and getting it.
Because the bible says, you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost!!
Abraham, count the stars, start counting….
I Can see the Lord healing my body. I can see the Lord saving my Children.
Isaiah, was able to see the Lord….
Faith is the substance….

faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see.

The Lord Told Abraham, take the heifer, divide it. Cut it in half. This is the covenant we are about to make, and the Lord.
Two Parts. Agreement between two. In order for the covenant to work, both must do their part.
Luke (Chapter 11)
9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
two Parts, we ask….in faith, then it is given…
Seek….. you shall find…..
Knock…..the door will be opened…..
That's why I know its easy to receive the Holy Ghost!
Salvation
Jn 3:3–6 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born hagain, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of jwater and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Acts 2:38 “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
Your part, we get baptized. Baptism is obedience. That is our part.
Only the Lord can fill someone with the Holy Ghost.
We have faith. We know that he is a healer.
Lift up your head towards heaven, and believe that he is going to fill you with the Spirit.

8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

By Faith..
Will thou be make Whole???
Can you see it… What does it look Like.
The Lord is going to do His part.
The Lord Told Abraham, start counting the stars. Start believing.
Divide it. Cut it in half.
The Lord told us to go…. Preach the gospel
in obedience we are to go. The Lord is going to do His Part.
Hebrews 6:18 “That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:”
Elijah provided the sacrifice, and the Lord brought the fire.
The Lord provided a cloud to overshadow the Israelites.
Hebrews 4:16 KJV 1900
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
The Lord is a covenant keeping God….
