God’s rock solid truth in a world of shifting sands.

Motto: God’s Truth never changes.

CSB Matthew (Chapter 7)
THE TWO FOUNDATIONS
24 “Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. (James reminds us, we are not just to be hearers of the Word but doers of the Word.)
25 The rain fell, the rivers rose, and the winds blew and pounded that house. Yet it didn’t collapse, because its foundation was on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and doesn’t act on them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 The rain fell, the rivers rose, the winds blew and pounded that house, and it collapsed. It collapsed with a great crash.”
28 When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, 29 because he was teaching them like one who had authority, and not like their scribes.
Day 1: Truth comes from God
Bible Story: Satan tricked Adam and Eve - Genesis 2-3
Some people say: truth can be different for different people
God says: truth comes from Me
Bonus Verse: Psalm 119:160
ESV (Psalm 119)
160  The sum of your word is truth,
and every one of your righteous rules endures forever.
Day 2: God's plan is best Bible Story: Daniel chose God's way - Daniel 1 Some people say: do what makes you happy God says: My plan for you is even better Bonus Verse: Proverbs 3:5-6 Day 3: Everyone needs Jesus Bible Story: The rich young ruler - Mark 10:17-27 Some people say: being a good person gets you into heaven God says: everyone sins and needs a Savior Bonus Verse: Romans 3:23-24 Day 4: Jesus is the only way Bible Story: John wrote about Jesus - John 14:1-6; 18-20 (chapters); Acts 1:9-12 Some people say: There are many ways to get to heaven God says: Jesus is the only way to get to heaven Bonus Verse: Acts 4:12 Day 5: Speak the truth in love Bible Story: Paul encouraged the Ephesians - Acts 9:1-6; 19:1-10, 21-31; 20:1; Ephesians 3:14-4:16 Some people say: if you don't agree with me, you don't love me God says: speak the truth in love Bonus Verse: Ephesians 4:15
ESV Ephesians (Chapter 4)
11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
CSB Romans (Chapter 12)
12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship.
2 Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.
Titus 3:5 ESV
he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,
2 Corinthians 3:18 ESV
And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.
We need a double work of the Holy Spirit (John Piper). We need to steadily gaze at Christ as the Spirit is transforming us into His image from the inside out! The revealing to us by the Spirit of the truth of the Gospel while at the same time the Spirit exploding out hearts of stone, giving us a heart of flesh, so we can humbly have a renewed mind. Christ exalting truth from the outside, followed by Christ accepting humility on the inside causes us to have worship. Pursue Christ exalting truth found in His Word, those who preach it, and those who have written it.
1 Corinthians 2:12–15 ESV
Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual. The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one.
Admit that you are a sinner.
Believe that Jesus died on the cross and rose again. He took our punishment in our place satisfying God’s wrath toward man because of sin.
Confess that Jesus is Lord and Saviour of your life!
