They took some of the things I commanded them to destroy. They have stolen and lied and have taken those things for themselves. 12 That is why the Israelites cannot face their enemies. They turn away from the fight and run, because I have commanded that they be destroyed. I will not help you anymore unless you destroy everything as I commanded you. 13 “Now go! Make the people holy. Tell them, ‘Set yourselves apart to the Lord for tomorrow. The Lord, the God of Israel, says some of you are keeping things he commanded you to destroy. You will never defeat your enemies until you throw away those things.

Two things happened: #1. Josh no longer consulted with God on what to do. #2. The spirit of disobedience entered the hart of one person..

Its an indicator that we have moved away from God and keeping his commandments

I have to be honest, its always been a discipline I have tried to master all my Christian Life. And I have like many Christians, found myself doing Church work but lacked Intimacy with my Savior.. In 2023 God revealed to me how I’ve built an alter at my Tv & Computer.

Like Joshua, as the Leader in my Home and at the Church when my prayer life and fasting life deminished, it opens the door to santanic attacks to those who are close to me.

In just one victory Joshua no longer consulted God in his war strategy..

But wait, this is the same guy who was mentored by moses. He was with him and saw the dependency Moses had with God.

Its possible that many of us having tasted real success yet, because the Lord is Vetting Our Hart, And right now we ain’t ready……

3.When we No longer Embrace the Doctrine of Holiness & Sanctification

God instructs the Leader to Sanctify the people by commanding him to say sanctify yourselves…

With all the Holy Ghost you have in you.. Tell the person to the left and right.. Sanctify Yourself…

13 Up, sanctify (set apart for a holy purpose) the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow; for thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: There are accursed things in the midst of you, O Israel. You can not stand before your enemies until you take away from among you the things devoted [to destruction].

1 But you need to be aware that in the final days the culture of society will become extremely fierce and difficult for the people of God. 2 People will be self-centered lovers of themselves and obsessed with money. These Spoils Represent The World system God wanted to destroy everything in the Jericho Culture .

Achan brought what was supposed to be destroyed and planted it into the Israelite Culture.

And the Achan of today are doing the same thing in todays Church.

We have more of the world system in the Church then we ever have.

The way they dress, there music, there Weed, there fornication & adultery. Do I need to go on?

So i just got saved and the Lord delivered me from 15 year drug addiction and I join a church and every Sunday while i am worshiping the smell of weed comes in the room..
