Paul - the Apostle of our LORD Jesus

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and from our LORD Jesus Christ. Amen!
Paul the persecutor; offender of Christians is hunted. The work that he used to do, is done to him. He used to enter house after house dragging off Christians and commiting them to prison. He plotted the killing of Stephen remember! Now he is a Christian, called to be the instrument carrying the Gospel to the world. And after his call, he started preaching Jesus almost immediately. The Jews heard about him preaching Jesus, and they plotted to kill him. They were keeping watch day and night in order to to kill him. There plot became know to Paul. His fellow disciples took him by night and let him down through an opening in a basket. Paul never seeks martyrdom, but he seek to honor and proclaim the Gospel, whether by life or death. Paul escaped not to spare his life, but for the sake of the Gospel. Christians show sincere faith by welcoming Paul, supporting his teaching of salvation through Christ. Brothers and sisters in Christ, for the sake of the Gospel today, support and defend the witness of your brothers and sisters in Christ. Support their mission in the Church. Support the Christian Leagues; the men or women ministry in the Church. Support the youth programs in the Church. Support the Sunday School ministry. Provide either moral, physical or financial support whichever is easier for you. The Lord Jesus is your defender. He defends you from harm and danger as He did for Paul. He defends you from sin, death, and the power of the devil by innocent suffering, death, resurrection, and ascension. He defends you by sending the Holy Spirit your comforter; who always tells you what is right or wrong, and keeps you in true faith to life everlasting. Indeed, Jesus is your defender. Amen!
