Abraham’s journey of learning to trust God has had ups and downs, but by Genesis 21 he seems to have reached a level of maturity. Abraham obeys God, listens to God and blesses others. We can learn from Abraham’s example and look to Jesus for assurance that God won’t turn his back on us.
