Cultivating Resilience in Fatherhood
Proverbs 24:16 NIV
16 for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.
It is not over until it is over.
Using what we learned over the past four weeks and applying it to fatherhood.

II. Building a Strong Foundation:
A. Establishing a foundation of love, trust, and communication within the family.
Even the best of fathers feel like they fall short
Matthew 7:24–27 NIV
24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
Step one in being a resilient father is to have a firm foundation in Jesus and His word.
