Be watchful awake and prayerful

English Standard Version Chapter 21

34 “But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. 35 For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 But stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

37 And every day he was teaching in the temple, but at night he went out and lodged on the mount called Olivet. 38 And early in the morning all the people came to him in the temple to hear him.

1. Be aware

Dont act like we dont need prayer

the more we pray we can pray or want to pray and

only prayer from the heart can reach Gods heart

when was the last time there was confusion and heart felt repentance

Prayer is not a ritual, prayer is what people in love do

because there is a relationship

acts chapter 16 they did what God told them to do here

prayer is meant to change us not our circumstance

patice in tribulation and constant in prayer

we need to be “KNOWN BY GOD” THOSE WHO DO HIS WILL

God wants the real you in prayer

not a perfect theological exercise she wants a

prayer is not meritorious, but instead the evidence of faith
