Reading the Old Testament Faithfully 3

Deuteronomy 1:1-18.

Applying our understanding of reading the OT and typology to a passage of Scripture.

Again, the goal is to take OT passage, passages and books that are unloved and show the riches of Christ from them.

Observations

What is the structure of the passage?

Where are we in redemptive history (storyline of the Bible)?

What are some micro-indicators we can see?

What is a potential concern of the people being addressed? How does the passage answer that concern?

Theology/Application

Come up with a big idea and three points (give a sentence of explanation for each point).
