Happy fathers day//// To all the Fathers here today.

We handed out these raffles,
can we get Ricky G up here...... and Ray
2 Weeks ago I challenged the church, to come with a desire an anticipation for a word.
I feel In my spirit to tell you that when you have a desire for his word he will carry you through the storm you are in.....
I have another challenge/ Come with the desire to see, what the Lord will Do!!!
Acts 2:43 “awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.”
Come with the desire to see, The Lame will walk, the mute will speak, the deaf will hear.
Quote:

The yearning of many men today /

to become good fathers / is rooted in our past—/ we are all children who want our fathers. Something in us yearns to honor fatherhood.

Ken Canfield

18.3 million children across America / who live without a father in the home, 1 in 4 children.
Children without fathers are more likley to be poor and involved in drugs and alcohl abuse / Drop out of school and suffer from health and emmotional problems.
We need the Fathers of the church to Arise; look around and find a spiritual son and we challenage you to shepard them......

Title: The Fathers DNA

Story:
When my Daughter Sofia was Born.....
She had spikey hair.......
To Top it off, she had these chinky eyes....
Let’s Look at these picture:
As you can see, Sofia dresses like her mom
-Acts like her mom
- And was caught in the school camera Dancing like her mom;
-Parents remember what you say and do will make a full circle,
Who you are your kids will become
John 3:16 (ESV)
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Point 1 : The Fathers DNA
Context: John 3 1-5
1.) The Movement / Revival / the birth of new life
2.) The question from Nicodemus
3.) How can you must be born again?

John 3:3–4 (ESV)

Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

4.) V3. Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

5.) V4. Nicodemus said to him,“How can a man be born when he is old?

Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Point 2 The great Exchange; The Word Exchanged really stood out

A.) God had such an immense / unfallbalbe /unfailing / Agape Love of God towards his creation
There had to be an exchange,
a perfect sacrifice that would be able to atone for the sins of the world.
This was the greatest demonstration of Love that God has done for us...
In V16 We see 5 intresting points in V1
In V16 (ESV)
1.) We see “For God so loved the world,
A.) There was no question that God loved his son
B.) There is no Question, if you have a children that you love them more than a friend.
C.) I seepicture God saying: I love you son but i Also love my creation
God will never ask you to do something he hasnt done himself
In Gen 22 1-2 we see Where the Lord tested abrham; to offer his son as a sacrifies

Genesis 22:1–2 (ESV)

Genesis 22:1–2 ESV
After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” He said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”

The Lord said “Abraham!”

And he said, “Here I am,” He said,

“Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”

1.) We know that the Lord provided a sacrifice for Abrham
2.) The Lord was Looking for his obedience
3.) Centries later The Lord would send is son into this world
2.) That he gave his only Son,
A.) ‘The Exchange’, Jesus gave up perfection, for imperfection
He would have to prove himself worthy to sit at the right had of God again.
Here is a picture of how much The Lord Love his creation:

Ephesians 3:18–19 (NLT)

Ephesians 3:18–19 ESV
may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.

May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

3.) That whoever believes in him;
A.) Its not enough just to believe; There has to be repentance, and Change
B.) We have to turn a full 180 from the worldly patterns
C.) This will take faith and courage
Fathers are you praying? In your own relaltionship with the Lord, Are you praying with your families? Lets be real?

1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 (NIV)

1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 ESV
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 11:6 (ESV)

Hebrews 11:6 ESV
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

4.) should not perish-
This world is not our home;
The Lord is coming for his bride, the church, will we be ready?
Will your famlies be ready?
5.) But have eternal life-
Could you imagine the Joy and the Fullness that awaits us?

Revelation 21:4 (ESV)

Revelation 21:4 ESV
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

He will wipe away every tear from their eyes,

and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Point 3 Follow in my Love

A.) Away from the Lord and the men and women are missriable; Angry; irritable; bitter, Ext..
B.) Is your love like Gods Love? , are your ways like Gods ways?
C.)

1 Corinthians 13:4–8 (ESV)

1 Corinthians 13:4–8 ESV
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.

Ephesians 6:10–18 (ESV)

Ephesians 6:10–18 ESV
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

55  Being a parent is better than a course on theology. Being a father is teaching me that when I am criticized, injured, or afraid, there is a Father who is ready to comfort me.
