King James Version (John 10:9-10)

9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. 10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

1. There is a real Satan.

The thief talked about in out text is known as Satan.

The Hebrew word means to oppose, obstruct, and accuse. In the greek the word means adversary.

His purpose is to completely destroy souls.

2. There is a real Savior.

He laid down His life on the cross so that we could be saved!

I thank God becasue where there is a real Savior there is also a very real Salvation!

3. There is a real Salvation.

This gospel is real!

I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;

There is a real salvation in this life and it is the best life. Now I have scripture to back this up. But before I give you scripture let me share a little about my own story again. My main authority is the Bible. But when your experience lines up with the Bible you gotta talk about your experience! Hallelujah!

I know its the best life because I have lived on both sides of the fence. Jesus even said it didnt He! The thief comes…But I have come! The Psalmist knew it too.

Nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD;

I know I know some might say “will it doesnt seem like the best life to me i likes my partying too much.” Hum drum boring! Thats like saying certain foods are disgusting before you even try them.

You know what the end of that is. There is a way that seems right to a man but its end is death.

Will it doesnt seem like the best life that Christian over there doesnt seem to happy.

You dont know what they have had to carry.

Some are just unhappy and they are choosing to be.
